#1: Specialize in your field

You have joined affiliate marketing. And of course, you want to become successful in it.


But that’s not a reason to embrace everything.

Let me cite an example from my own life.

I was promoting a diabetes destroyer product. That was at the beginning of my affiliate marketing career. Business had not picked up yet so I was a bit lackadaisical about my business.

It was only when things started improving and I was updating my content that I realized the diabetes program had left ClickBank and were then somewhere else.

Of course, my affiliate link was no longer valid and clicks were returning 404 page not found, without my knowing it.

Google doesn’t like those kind of pages as they don’t ensure visitors a pleasant experience. So Google penalizes sites with such pages.

Now, how did that situation come about?

It had happened because I had relegated the merchant’s mail informing me about the move from ClickBank to later. Then I forgot all about it.

Don’t ever do that.

Update your post constantly to acknowledge and reflect any changes.

Always be on the lookout for new products that are useful and relevant to your audience. The more products you promote and the higher the relevance to your audience, the more money you’ll make.

    I think you have hit the nail on the head as you have highlighted 9 important  areas to which affiliate  marketers must do to avoid  costly mistakes. You have given so much important information that you will be a fool not to follow it. It is important to choose  your niche and to be passionate about. You must also be able to  come up with products to review and so not go for a niche that is too narrow. I think it is a great way of making money but it is not a walk in the park.
