Reviews are going to play a big role in your business and the traffic that you are going to monetize.

Why is this important?

People looking to shop online or for an opportunity to earn money online, typically start a search with broad terms (e.g. which is the best affiliate training, or, how do I make money online). Then, as they progress with their research, they gain more product knowledge or awareness.

If they come across a “product x”, they may not accept the credibility of that review right away, so they may want to research that product further.

Here are some examples (with the names of the products replaced by x and y):

-product_x scam
-is product_x scam
-is product x legit
-is product_x a scam
-does product_x work
-product_x review
-product_x reviews

and:

-product_y training
-how much does product_y cost
-product_y legit
-is product_y worth the money
-does product_y produce results
-product_y bonus
-product_y complaints

If you did such a research yourself, you could use the bunch of potential product-related keywords obtained for your campaigns. While writing your review, you could have one of these keywords in the title of the article, another one at the beginning, others used as sub categories and in the anchor text and yet another one placed at the end of the article.

Don’t forget to Google instant it as well as use the alphabet soup technique on the product which will all supply you product related keywords.

Task 1: Create a template for your reviews

Your first task in this post is to learn to create a review template. This will serve as a convenient guideline for all of your reviews going forward. This standardization of your reviews will not only streamline but also lead to much more efficiency in the development of your reviews. Your visitors will find consistency in your reviews and this can lead to more conversions.

One more thing.

Your review template need to:

• Work for the flow of your site (affiliate marketing ranking on this site)
• Be creative
• Be genuine and helpful to the reader
• Allow the reader to feel as though they are making an educated decision
• Be consistent across board

Note: This following review template is not set in concrete. Add to or delete things from it as necessary. For the more helpful your review is, the more likely your reader is to take a specific action you recommend. It doesn’t matter whether your review is positive or negative.

Here is the template from Wealthy Affiliate:

PRODUCT_NAME Review (e.g.: Jaaxy Keyword Tool Review)

Website: WEBSITE_URL
Price: PRICE
Owner(s): OWNER NAMES
Overall Rank: XX out of 100

Task 2: Create a spreadsheet for all your reviews, links, etc.

Now, you are going to set up a spreadsheet that you can use to manage your reviews. I recommend that you do this within Google Spreadsheets (which is free and web based). Alternatively, you can do it using Microsoft excel or even putting them down on ordinary paper.

This documents will serve for organizing your reviews. It will also enable you to have a quick glance of the content that you have created, know what products you have ranked where, etc. Finally, you can also manage your affiliate links for the products here.

The columns could be:

Product Name
Owner
Website URL
Cost
Review Page URL
Ranking:
Additional Detail 1
Additional Detail 2

Affiliate Link
Affiliate Login Username
Affiliate Login Password
etc…

Task 3: Write a product review

Finally, you are going to write a review of a product.

Be as thorough as possible with your reviews. Use a block of content to direct people to your number one ranked product, the best one for them, in my case: Wealthy Affiliate, a really legitimate program.
Important: Don’t forget to include affiliate links for every product you review. You would be leaving money on the table if you left out your affiliate links.

Here are good databases of products and product information where you can find some reviews:

Ripoffreport.com
Scam.com
IMreportcard.com
BBB.org
JVNotifyPro.com
Google.com

Know that while it is acceptable to offer your opinion within reviews, you shouldn’t for any reason include false or misleading statements.
